What We Do

Concept for Women & Children Foundation was formed in the year of 2022 out of the survey conducted by its founding members on the rights and responsibilities of women and children in the rural communities in Nigeria, The rights of women and children were not fully functional in most of the states in Nigeria where CWCF is operating. The Nigerian version of the rights of the child as a statutory act provided in the Nigeria child right Act 2003 highlights the formation of the child welfare committees- (CWC) and child panels; these were not evident in most of the rural communities in Nigeria. The Concept for Women and Children’s Foundation was formed to help complement the efforts of Government and Organizations in Nigeria.

Advocate for women and children in communities
Inform and educate the general public on youth, children and women’s rights and its corresponding responsibilities.
To address issues of unskilled labour amongst youth and women.
Sexual Reproductive and HIV/AIDS awareness for youth and children
Enhancing child and youth learning facilities
Promote right to Water and sanitation for children and youth
